Dr. Brodman provides various educational resources and preventive screenings to reduce your risk for potentially serious diseases, including cervical cancer and breast cancer. She can also address issues like painful sex, endometriosis, and infertility, and guides you through the early stages of pregnancy.

What can I expect during my initial gynecology care consultation?

When you visit with Dr. Brodman for a routine well-woman exam, she spends time reviewing your personal and family medical histories, your current health, and any concerns you have about your physical, reproductive, and sexual health.

During a pelvic exam, Dr. Brodman assesses the health of your vagina, breasts, and pelvic organs. She can also complete a Pap smear by collecting a sample of cells from your cervix to check for precancerous or cancerous changes. She sends the cell sample to a medical lab for evaluation.

As part of your annual exam, Dr. Brodman can help you choose the optimal contraception method if you want to prevent unintended pregnancies. She also guides you to help you make changes to your lifestyle and diet that support your overall health.

If you visit the office for abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, or other gynecological concerns, Dr. Brodman offers ultrasounds and other on-site diagnostic testing services to confirm your diagnosis. She designs a care plan for your individual needs to relieve your symptoms and treat your condition.
