About Dr. Karen F. Brodman, MD
Karen F. Brodman, MD, is a board-certified OB/GYN committed to providing quality gynecology care to women of all ages. At her office in the Upper West Side of Manhattan, New York, Dr. Brodman treats various gynecological conditions. She has a particular interest in treating vulvar disorders, colposcopy, abnormal bleeding, and pelvic pain. She is a North American Menopause Society Certified Menopause Practitioner (NCMP) with expertise in menopause and perimenopause issues.
After years of private practice on the Upper East Side of New York City, she is thrilled to be working in her new Upper West Side practice location. Dr. Brodman’s expertise is only solidified by her accolades, including board certification in obstetrics and gynecology, being a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (FACOG), and being a published author.
Dr. Brodman received a bachelor’s degree in chemistry at Douglass College at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. From there, she went on to complete her residency training at Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Dr. Brodman is a member of the voluntary faculty and is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, New York, where she remains active in ongoing medical education. When she’s not treating patients, Dr. Brodman enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exercising, hiking, and crafting.
